Writer's Block: Childhood Firsts
Jun. 29th, 2009 07:43 pmMy first word was Do. Pronounced "dough." It was how I referred to my father for the first three years of my life. Then my grandpa's "Dee." My mom was always disappointed it took me forever to say her name.
I also would only write the first few letters of a word while I was learning to write. I guess I was a lazy child.
